- We serve students ages 7–14
- Enrollment: our goal is to have 36 students by 2014. Our building can comfortably hold 100 students.

- 100% of our teachers hold masters degrees in special education, literacy, or speech and language pathology

- All students receive 1:1 instruction to help remediate their academic weaknesses
- Reading instruction centers on the Orton-Gillingham Approach
- We offer additional related services: speech language therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling
- Every student is issued a laptop which stays with them at school
- All students participate in various aspects of the performing arts
- Students participate in Self Help at Prospect in the Wooster tradition, an innovative leadership and character education program
- Real life applications of learning are emphasized on a wide variety of field trips to locations throughout the region
- The Wooster School's beautiful 100-acre campus offers performing and visual arts facilities, a swimming pool, an Episcopal chapel with a strong interfaith tradition, and newly refurbished athletic fields
As a division of the Wooster school, The Prospect School is accredited by the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools. The Prospect School at Wooster is also a member of The International Dyslexia Association, The Learning Disabilities Association of America, CHADD, and the Council for Exceptional Children.
