Welcome to The Prospect School at Wooster!
If you are reading this, you know your child can be successful, but you are not sure if your child’s current setting can unlock the potential hidden within. You want your child to do more than survive elementary and middle school – you want them to thrive. What if there was a safe, caring environment where your child could be taught not only what, but how they needed to learn? What if you could enroll your child in a completely individualized program that gives every student the personalized, knowledgeable attention they need? Welcome to The Prospect School.
The Prospect School, a new division of The Wooster School, opened its doors in September 2011 with its first students. Each child is different and individually talented, and therefore each deserves his or her own tailored educational experience. The Prospect School is a wonderful opportunity for parents to place their children in a program that is custom made for each child’s unique learning style and educational needs.
The Prospect School offers many advantages to families of children with learning disabilities that traditional schooling cannot. Since we are a new and small school, we do not need to force your child to fit into a large class with little knowledge or understanding of learning disabilities. Instead each child receives their own personalized educational program designed to build on their strengths while remediating their weaknesses. Taught by expert special educators, our students also have access to a wide array of 1:1 instructional services.
Please call us for an individual assessment of your child’s needs and to learn more about why a Prospect education is "learning with a difference."
The Prospect School at Wooster located in Danbury, Connecticut serves students ages 7-14 with diagnosed learning disabilities. We are a child-centered school focused on helping each child discover their potential. If you are a parent dedicated to your child's success, you are in luck as there are still a few spots remaining in our inaugural class.
We operate on a rolling admissions basis. Applications are being accepted for immediate entry for the 2012-2013 academic year on a space available basis. Please click the previous sentence to go to our application for admission.
