Dear Prospective Families:
Welcome. Thank you for your interest in The Prospect School at Wooster. The information on this page should help you better understand our admissions process.
Families usually contact our school when they find that their child’s academic skills are not developing at a rate commensurate with their overall intelligence. Often their child is not happy at school and may feel that they can’t learn.
Through our careful screening process, we are able to identify the applicants who will derive the most benefit from our specific and individualized approach to academics.
The Prospect School maintains a "rolling" admission policy throughout the school year. Mid-year admissions decisions are not based on "first come first served," but rather on the best available candidate (i.e. match) for a particular class. Financial aid is available, but is not a factor in admissions decisions.
We are accepting students between the ages of 7 and 14 with learning disabilities or ADHD into our School. Please call Dr. Jordana Levine The Prospect School at Wooster to discuss your child. She can be reached at 203-730-6716.
The Prospect School at Wooster does not serve students whose primary diagnosis is emotional or behavioral. However, we understand that all children are different, and all decisions are made on an individual basis.
The Prospect School at Wooster enrolls students without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, or ethnic origin.
